Pastor Tester was born on December 3, 1966 & grew up in the area of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He was saved at the age of 18. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force & was honorably discharged. While serving in the military, he met the love of his life, Tammy Burwell, & they were married at the Calvary Road Baptist Church in Clinton, Maryland. After being discharged in 1989, he attended Hyles Anderson College. In 1996, he attended Texas Baptist College & there he received a degree in Bible/Pastoral Theology. 

 

Pastor Tester spent 11 years on staff at Calvary Road Baptist Church as an Assistant/Associate Pastor. He has also served for many years as Bus Director & Youth Pastor. He served under Dr. Bob Gray Senior, in Longview, Texas, performing the duties of an Assistant Pastor & College Recruiter. In addition, he also taught several classes at Texas Baptist College.

 

In 2003, Pastor Tester was sent out of Longview Baptist Temple to establish a local New Testament Church in the Greensboro, North Carolina area.

 

Pastor Tester & his wife have two daughters, Emily and Lauren. 

 

Both daughters graduated from Texas Independent Baptist Seminary in May of 2019.
